Preparing for Surgery
Before you can even schedule a date for your surgery, you will first need to schedule a consultation with the board-certified surgeon who will perform the operation. Procedure Steps
On the day of your surgery, your surgeon will start by administering either anesthesia or intravenous sedation to help keep you comfortable during your procedure. Because a mommy makeover takes place while the patient is sedated, patients are required to have a friend or family member transport them to and from the hospital, as well as take care of them on the first day of their recovery. Please make sure you have your ride arranged prior to your surgery.

Results and Recovery
After your surgery is complete, your surgeon may cover your incisions with gauze or bandages, as well as a compression garment to help minimize swelling. Depending on your procedure, you may also have a bandage or support bra to support the breasts. In addition to talking to you after your surgery, we will also send you home with written instructions detailing care, medications to take, concerns, and when to follow up with your doctor.
Following your mommy makeover procedure, it may take several months for the final results to appear. Over time, incisions will heal and swelling will go down, revealing your new look. Keep in mind, while scars may fade over time, they may never go away completely. However, most patients feel this is a small price to pay in order to feel comfortable and confident in their own bodies.
